முதல் மாநாடு 1987-ல் கோயம்புத்தூரில் வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தி காட்டியதுடன் அன்று மாநாட்டில் சொன்னது போல இன்றும் "அரசியலில்" ஈடுபடாமல் இருந்து வருகிறார் கமல்ஹாசன்.
அன்று தன் பின் வந்தவர்கள் யாரும் தங்கள் தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையில் சோடை போகாதவாறு அவர்களுக்கு நற்பணி பாதையை காட்டி நல்வழி படுத்திய பெருமை கமல்ஹாசனேயே சாரும். ஆனால் அன்று தமிழன் பின்னே வராதவர்கள், இன்றும், அந்த நடிகரின் ஒவ்வொரு படம் ரிலீஸாகும் முன், அவர் நடத்தும் அரசியல் விளாயாட்டில் சிக்கி, தங்கள் குடும்பங்களை கூட கவனிக்க முடியாமல் தவித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள், என்பதை யாராலும் மறுக்க முடியாது.
அதனால் தான் இன்று பாரத பிரதமர், "தூய்மை இந்தியா" திட்டத்திற்கு, தென்னிந்தியாவில், சினிமா உலகில் இருந்து, கமல்ஹாசனை மட்டும் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துள்ளார்.
